HOLMDEL, NJ | JANUARY 13, 2017: New Jersey rock outfit Youth in Revolt announced today that their anticipated debut full-length, The Broken, has been pushed back from January 20, 2017 to the new date of February 17, 2017 with Outerloop Records in a statement made to fans. Along with the announcement, Youth in Revolt released a revolutionary lyric video for the politically-fueled title track, "The Broken." Recorded at Oceanic Recording (Taylor Larson) and The Foundation (Josh Buckner and Nick Matzkows), The Broken features 11 infectious pop/rock songs with post-hardcore influences. Here is the statement the band made today:
"Hi Friends - We know everyone is excited to finally hear our debut album 'The Broken' which will be out soon, we are just as excited as you are, but due to production delays we wanted to let you all know the release date has been pushed back a bit to February 17, 2017. Don't worry though! Over the holidays we put together a rad lyric video for you for the album's title track, "The Broken" and will be releasing a brand new song next week! Stay tuned for more." - Youth in Revolt
Youth in Revolt is a five-piece rock band hailing from Holmdel, New Jersey with musical similarities to bands such as Sleeping With Sirens and Of Mice and Men. With sinister riffs, heavy breakdowns, and an array of catchy choruses, Youth In Revolt's sound is nothing to be considered forgettable. After adding former Brightwell members Tanner Allen (vocals) and Arvin Sarathy (drums) to an impressive lineup with original members Kenny Torres (Vocals, Bass), Alex Ramos (Guitar), and Chris Coletti (Guitar), Youth in Revolt are in their biggest year yet. The band released the first piece of music with the new lineup, a cover of Ellie Goulding's "Something in the Way You Move"on September 21st, to great acclaim. The band most notably broke into the scene touring alongside acts such as Capture the Crown, Ice Nine Kills, Palisades, and more. Following the debut of their cover of Lorde's popular track, "Royals," featured on Pop Goes Punk Vol. 6 and touring the Vans Warped Tour supporting their EP Love is a Liar's Game in 2015, Youth in Revolt have gained a dedicated following that has highly anticipated the band's next move.

Mechanicsburg, PA // January 10th, 2017: The months leading up to 2017 were ripe with inspiration for singer-songwriter, Natalie Lain. November dropped Lain into SwitchBitch Studios and under the wing of engineer and producer Michael Abiuso who helped the young singer to hone-in on the concepts and artistic musings that would become the songs on her debut, self-titled EP which drops today. With Lain's unconventional approach to writing and Abiuso's impeccable ear and expertise behind the board, the pair often built the songs from the ground-up, sometimes starting with nothing more than a melody or a bit of poetry. Like fine filament the two spun these spontaneous bouts of inspiration into a sonic tapestry of four, beautifully unique pop songs.
The four track EP explores Lain's original style of songwriting and demonstrates her creative ability as a musician and lyricist. While her approach to songwriting and structure is untraditional, the compositions still flow beautifully and pull the listener in unpredictable, yet pleasing directions. The tangible CD will include a songbook full of her original paintings and art that exemplifies the mood of her music, love of nature, astronomy, and copies will be available for purchase on January 20th via Bandcamp.
According to Lain, this album is a short compilation of her early work as a musician. A self-proclaimed poet inspired by a number of artists in various realms, Lain enjoys the process of taking what's written and bringing it to life through her music. She will continue to evolve and develop her style for her up coming full-length record.
"My niche as a musician is constantly becoming clearer to me, yet always expanding. I love grunge, jazz, metal, edm, and rock n roll. I see myself incorporating all of that which inspires me into my future work and did my very best to incorporate it into this album. I could not be more grateful to be a part of this wild and crazy world full of art and full experiences to be had and shared. Music is truly everything." - Natalie Lain

"Deaf Havana's new album All These Countless Nights is still a couple weeks away, but the group has given us another glimpse at what the album is going to sound like with the video debut of "Fever"
The new video is actually part three of a bigger story, with "Sing" and "Trigger" being parts one and two.
"I always loved the idea of having several videos that were all part of a bigger story, I felt like the three singles, ("Sing", "Trigger" and "Fever") were perfect for this as they all shared and underlying theme of feeling alienated and out of control,” said lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist James Veck-Gilodi.
Veck-Gilodi also remarked that "Fever" is the darkest song on the record and is about heavy drinking and how a visit to his mother helped bring change to his lifestyle.
All These Countless Nights will be the band's first album released through SO Recordings.
“This album needs to take us to a higher level,” asserts Veck-Gilodi. “Not necessarily in terms of chart positions, because I don’t care about that. I just can’t wait for people to hear the album. We appreciate the fact that everyone’s waited this out with us. It’s going to be great.”
All These Countless Nights can be preordered here and features several different pre-order bundles, including a gorgeous red vinyl record, along with a rad art print. The album will be released on January 27." - ALT PRESS

InVogue Records recording artists Courage My Love have today launched “Stereo” as the first single from their forthcoming full-length debut album. The track is available at all digital music providers as well at all streaming services here.
Watch the lyric video for “Stereo” here.
Produced by David Bendeth (Paramore, Of Mice and Men, Papa Roach), “Stereo” introduces a new arsenal of sounds for the Kitchener, Ontario-based trio who have made a name for themselves and built a strong following on a number of tours across North America and Europe.
“We didn’t want to be stuck underneath a female-fronted rock band ceiling,” admits guitarist / singer Mercedes Arn-Horn. “We wanted to reach beyond that constraint and see where it would take us.”
During the recording of Synesthesia, Arn-Horn’s twin sister, drummer / singer Phoenix taught herself synth programming which helped shaped the sound of the new album and gave the band a new attitude when it can to songwriting.
“We lost our ego of wanting to show off,” says Phoenix. “Now, when we write, its more about the song and what it needs. We try to make songs instead of flashy parts.”
Courage My Love were first discovered at a 2010 battle of the Bands in Stratford Ontario. The band’s independently produced video for the song “Bridges” amassed over 2 million views and the band discovered that director Kevin Smith (Silent Bob) was among the many fans that had discovered their music. The band signed with Warner Music Canada in 2011 and in 2012 Alternative Press Magazine pegged them as one of the bands to watch that year. In 2014 The band’s first two EPs, For Now and Becoming, earned them a 2014 JUNO Awards nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year and later that summer Courage My Love joined the vans Warped Tour across North America.
More information about the new album will be released in the coming months.
With fans wildly excited for a return with new music and a new lineup, New Jersey rock band Youth in Revolt is thrilled to announce the release of their debut full-length album, The Broken, set for January 20, 2017 with Outerloop Records. After adding former Brightwell members Tanner Manoir (vocals) and Arvin Sarathy (drums) to an impressive lineup with original members Kenny Torres (Vocals, Bass), Alex Ramos (Guitar), and Chris Coletti (Guitar), Youth in Revolt are in their biggest year yet. The band released the first piece of music with the new lineup, a cover of Ellie Goulding's "Something in the Way You Move"on September 21st, to great acclaim. The tracks on The Broken were produced by Taylor Larson at Oceanic Recording, and vocals produced by Josh Buckner and Nick Matzkows at The Foundation. Here is what Kenny Torres had to say about the release:
"Writing The Broken was such an interesting experience. We took so many risks and tried so many new things, it was such a rollercoaster of emotions. We came to the studio with an overwhelming 34 songs and a couple demos. After listening to them with Taylor Larson, we just decided we should just rewrite the entire record. During that process, we stayed at his house in Bethesda, Maryland and adapted to the city and the studio. Every day and night we spent writing, recording or learning the new songs that were coming together. Whether it was tracking screams at 5am, or tracking guitars at 5pm, almost every hour of the day we were working. It truly was the most fun, and creative experience we've had as a band. We expanded our sound, minds, and achieved things that seemed impossible and out of our reach.
The album is a collection of experiences we can all relate to, and each song is significant in it's own way. However, the title track 'The Broken' is not only our favorite song but one that describes what we went through in the process of writing this record. We as a band were broken and had basically broken up but we've been able to piece ourselves back together and are now joined by our good friends Tanner and Arvin and original guitarist Chris. We couldn't have pulled through and made this record without the guys at Oceanic Recording, The Foundation Studio, and and all of our fans who support us and give us the drive to continue to do what we love to inspire positivity and creativity. " - Kenny Torres

Set It Off
Set It Off stopped in Pittsburgh PA at the Club at Stage AE on October 16th. The packed venue eagerly waited for Set It Off to come on but got to listen to great openers like Reckless Serenade and Nevada Color. Once Set It Off took the stage the whole place was filled with chaotic energy.

What is an night with Aaron Gillespie, Ace Enders & Vinnie Caruana like? It's acoustic and intimate. It was nice to take a break from the louder shows and relax while photographing and just enjoy the moments. The voices from these three were incredible, powerful, and raw. This was a special night for anyone in the audience and the three acts as well. If this tour comes near you don't miss out!
